The Journal is where I share useful explanations, observations, and explorations that do not fit neatly into a single application. Topics may range from medicine, technology, and research to gaming and interesting things discovered along the way. Some posts unpack a complex subject; others document an experiment, a practical lesson, or a question worth exploring. The aim is to make each article clear, useful, and grounded in the subject rather than tied to a single project.
Browse articles by topic, discover new posts, and return whenever something catches your interest.
Independent projects by drdp.dev
Small tools for real-world decisions.
dpVault is the home for practical web applications built to make complex information easier to explore, long-term plans easier to test, and repetitive tasks easier to finish.
Each project starts with a specific problem and is developed as its own service. Explore the live tools below, learn how they work, and follow the development of new experiments as they take shape.

Three different problems. One evolving project ecosystem.
01Information, made navigable
Explore structured data instead of juggling scattered pages and files.
02Plans, made testable
Change assumptions and see how different choices can affect outcomes.
03Workflows, made simpler
Reduce repetitive setup with small, focused digital utilities.

A research workspace for postgraduate medical counselling
01 / Medical counselling
Desire
A NEET PG counselling data explorer that brings historical allotment information and practical comparison tools into one searchable workspace.
Medical counselling information can be spread across years, rounds, quotas and institutions. Desire is designed to help applicants explore that information systematically, screen options against their own criteria, and inspect historical closing-rank patterns before making a shortlist.
Search & screenFilter counselling records, sort multiple columns, customise the table, and share filter states through URLs.
Historical rank viewsExplore closing-rank history and compare how allotment patterns vary across available years and rounds.
Quota & institution contextExplore All India Quota data and Telangana Convener and Management Quota counselling information.
Data tools & mapsUse institution/course maps and supporting statistics to make large datasets easier to navigate.
The platform also includes search history, installable PWA support, account features and ongoing improvements to the way counselling records are organised and presented.

02 / Financial planning
FreedomPlanner
A month-by-month financial life simulator for testing how income, expenses, goals, investments and unexpected setbacks can influence a long-range plan.
Instead of relying on a single compound-interest estimate, FreedomPlanner models a household's financial journey over time. Change career phases, salary increments, family and side-income assumptions, recurring commitments, and goal costs to compare possible outcomes.
Project cash flow month by month across a long planning horizon.
Model multiple earners, career phases, salary increments and side hustles.
Track one-time and recurring goals with inflation-adjusted future costs.
Explore an equity, debt and emergency-fund bucket strategy, rebalancing and a more conservative allocation over time.
Stress-test emergency scenarios and examine insurance-related and retirement-lifestyle assumptions.
Export the financial profile and simulation context to an AI assistant for further analysis.
Its purpose is to make assumptions explicit and scenarios comparable—not to promise a particular financial result or replace qualified financial advice.
A lightweight utility for creating many holiday and event entries in Google Calendar without adding each one by hand.
OffDayz is designed for people who need to set up a year's calendar in one focused session. It supports a workflow where holiday information from official documents can be parsed with an AI assistant, reviewed in a structured format, and then imported into Google Calendar.
Prepare bulk holiday entries instead of creating each event manually.
Validate event data and handle duplicates or updates to existing events.
Use colour distinctions for regular and optional holidays.
Generate and verify recurring calendar events with sequential processing.
Connect directly to Google Calendar; event creation happens through the user's authorised account.
OffDayz is designed as a client-side tool rather than a hosted calendar database. Review imported dates and grant Google Calendar permissions only if you want to use its calendar features.
dpVault is also a home for experiments that are still being built. New projects are developed around concrete workflows, tested in stages, and published when they are ready to be useful. Not every experiment is a public product yet.
The goal is not to collect features for their own sake. It is to build focused tools that solve a well-defined problem, explain what they do, and make the underlying workflow more reliable.

04 / Presentation workflow
Text2Slides
A text-first presentation workflow that turns structured slide content into native, editable Google Slides. Presentation content is maintained as structured source files, while the generation service creates or updates the corresponding slides through the Google Slides API.

The services behind the projects
Live tools—and the infrastructure connecting them.
Alongside the main applications, several focused services are already running in production. They support secure sign-in, device controls and verified access across the wider drdp.dev ecosystem.

05 / Shared identity infrastructure Live service
SSO sso.drdp.dev
A shared Single Sign-On service that provides one consistent authentication layer for applications across the drdp.dev ecosystem.
SSO centralises Google sign-in, account identity, role-based access and session management so each connected application does not need to build its own authentication system from scratch. It supports shared sessions across drdp.dev subdomains and provides a common foundation for authorised app access.
Google OAuthShared sessionsRole-based accessSession management
SSO is the identity layer—not the policy engine for every application. Connected services remain responsible for their own product permissions and access rules.
A mobile-friendly payment and support interface with UPI QR generation and token-based verification. Its server-side flow communicates with Token Verifier to confirm an eligible action without exposing signing secrets in the browser.
A reusable server-side service for registering devices, enforcing account-level device limits, recording security events and supporting administrator-led account recovery. Client apps retain their own sign-in sessions and user-facing device controls.
A backend verification service used for short-lived tokens and cross-site confirmation flows. It uses signed server-to-server requests, expiry checks and rate limiting so connected sites can verify token status without sharing private secrets with browser code.
Each project has a separate purpose and may have its own data, access model, privacy practices and release schedule.
01
Start with the problem
Projects focus on a defined task—counselling research, financial scenario planning, calendar setup or presentation production—rather than trying to be everything at once.
02
Make complexity navigable
Filters, structured inputs, visible assumptions and repeatable workflows help users inspect information and understand what a tool is doing.
03
Build iteratively
Features and interfaces evolve as issues are found and workflows improve. Availability and behaviour may change as each project develops.
A secondary directory
Resources, links and useful assets.
The Resources page is a separate catalogue for links and digital materials that do not need to be presented as core applications. It is intentionally kept apart from the main project portfolio so the purpose of dpVault stays clear: the projects come first, with the directory available when you need it.
dpVault is a directory for independently developed digital projects; it is not a government body, medical counselling authority, investment adviser or Google product. Desire is an information and exploration tool, and official counselling authorities remain the source of binding rules and allotment decisions. FreedomPlanner produces scenario estimates based on user inputs, not guaranteed forecasts or personalised financial advice. OffDayz creates calendar entries only through the user's authorised Google account, and imported event details should be checked before use. Each project may have separate terms and privacy practices.
