Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how dpVault (the website at drdp.dev) handles information when you visit the website, browse its resource directory, follow its links or contact its operator. dpVault is an independently maintained project directory and is operated by an individual developer. The applications linked from dpVault may be separate services with their own data practices; this policy does not replace the privacy notice of any such service.

1. Information this website may process

Technical and security information. When you request a page, the hosting, delivery and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, request URL, timestamps, browser or device characteristics, referring page and diagnostic or security events. This information may be used to deliver pages, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors and protect the website. The exact information and retention period depend on the provider and its configuration.

Messages you send. If you contact the operator by email, your email address, message and any information you choose to include are processed to read and respond to the request and maintain relevant correspondence. The website's contact links open your email application; dpVault does not operate a separate contact-form submission database through those links.

Resource and verification workflows. Some resource listings or access flows may use authentication, short-lived verification tokens or server-side requests to confirm that a requested action is authorised. Those workflows can process token identifiers, resource identifiers, request timestamps and verification status. Do not share a private token or include sensitive personal information in a URL.

2. Cookies, sessions and browser storage

The dpVault directory may use essential technical mechanisms to support security and requested functionality. Authentication or protected-access flows may involve session cookies or temporary verification data managed by dpVault or the relevant service. The specific cookies and storage used can vary with the feature you choose to use. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking them may prevent some features from working.

3. Advertising and third-party measurement

Pages on dpVault where advertising is enabled may display ads provided by Google AdSense or related advertising services. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses or similar technologies to deliver, limit, measure or personalise advertising, subject to your settings, Google's policies and applicable law. The technologies used and the ads shown may vary by location, browser and consent or privacy settings.

For details and available controls, read Google's information about advertising technologies and Google's Privacy Policy. You can also review Google's available ad-personalisation controls and your browser's cookie settings. Disabling personalised ads does not necessarily remove all advertising.

4. External websites and connected applications

dpVault links to independently operated applications, repositories, publishers, files and other websites. If you open an external link, the destination may receive information from your browser and process it under its own privacy policy. Some applications in the drdp.dev ecosystem may use Google sign-in, Google Calendar authorisation, shared authentication, device-security checks or token-verification services when you choose to use them. Those services may process account, session, permission, device-registration or verification information necessary for their functions.

Authorising a connected service is a separate action. Review the service's own privacy notice and the permissions requested before proceeding. dpVault's directory policy does not describe or control all processing performed by those services or by Google, hosting providers, advertising partners and other third parties.

5. Purposes and legal basis

Information may be processed to provide and maintain the website, respond to messages, operate requested features, protect services from misuse, diagnose technical problems, understand service performance where measurement is enabled, and display advertising where applicable. Where required by law, processing relies on an appropriate legal basis, such as providing a requested service, legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, consent, or compliance with a legal obligation.

6. Sharing and international processing

dpVault does not sell personal information to third parties for money. Information may be processed by service providers that host, deliver, secure, authenticate, verify or support the website and its features, and by advertising providers on pages where ads are enabled. Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or comply with a valid legal requirement.

These providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable, the provider's own safeguards, contractual terms and privacy policies govern that processing.

7. Retention and security

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, including security, troubleshooting, responding to correspondence and meeting legal requirements. Retention periods vary by data type and provider; dpVault does not control every third-party retention setting. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the website, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or lodge a complaint with a relevant authority. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. You can also choose not to provide optional information, adjust browser settings, decline optional permissions, or stop using a feature.

To submit a privacy question or request, email drdpdev@gmail.com. Please identify the relevant page or service and describe your request. Do not email passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details, medical records or other sensitive information. For information held by an independently operated linked application or provider, you may need to contact that service directly.

9. Children's privacy

dpVault is a general-purpose project directory and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly through a channel controlled by dpVault, contact the operator so the concern can be reviewed.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, its providers, features or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top indicates when this version was published. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
